Joe Shmoe
A decidedly average-looking human man with unkempt, blonde hair and a ruffly beard. He wears unimpressive, standard armor and wields an old, heavily used sword and shield. This unremarkable man only stands out with his uncanny averageness, the most normal, mundane man in The Kingdom of Krakonia . Perhaps it is for this reason he bears the Arbiter's Mark of the Black Kraken on the back of his left hand.
Joseph Rudimentary Shmoe is an anomaly amongst adventurers in that he is the least anomolous among adventurers. He is a white, cisgendered, straight male of exactly average height and weight for men. He has no real discernable features, just the typical face of a run-of-the-mill guy. He is just a fighter who uses a sword and shield, and takes on easy jobs to make a quick profit. No one notices him in public because of how average he is. No one notices his accomplishments because his accomplishments are completely ordinary and expected of any adventurer in Krakonia. He simply walks into The Hook , turns in a quest, takes on another quest, and leaves with little small talk. Rumors would abound about the man, since not much is known about him, but that would require people to notice him in the first place. A true background dweller in The Hook, his purpose is mostly to add to the scenery for the heroes that actually do interesting things in the tavern. He is eager to assist wherever he can, assuming gold is the reward. A decisively indecisive individual, Joe often moves on from one line of work to the next in the same manner that leaves blow in the wind.
Joe Shmoe is one of the example character sheets provided in the player folder for the purposes of showcasing how the character sheet template is supposed to be used. He is intended to be as average as possible for the explicit purpose of showing what the template does at its most basic level.
