Sol
The most populated and developed of all inhabited systems, Sol is the birthplace of humanity. Every planet has seen some measure of colonization by a nation or corporation, first during the Diaspora and then again during the Isolation. Moreso than any other colonized system, Sol is made up of dozens, if not hundreds, of allied nations and factions, some thousands of years old. Here Old Earth's influence is still strong, and while the Diaspora fragmented many of the old superpowers into dozens of colonies, in the years since some of these have reformed and once more grown stronger.
