Huldra

Seductive female forest creatures with fox tails and ears found in Scandinavian folklore. They can be playful, friendly or malicious. They sometimes lure men into the woods with a song. Exquisitely beautiful with golden/ginger hair. They have holes in their backs, like trunks of a tree.       Huldra are native to Scandinavian forests and don't tend to leave them, so seeing a Huldra outside a forest is extremely rare. They are sought out as wives for their beauty, but we weary, a Huldra may be just as likely to kiss you or lure you into the woods, never to be seen again. Some Huldra can be seen working with park rangers or environmentalists to protect forests.
  • Half-Huldra are extremely rare.
  • Huldra are exclusively female.
