Pensus

When the tides rolled back and the sand dunes of the Leuk Londs first began to form. A serpent that once lived in the deepest parts of the seas burrowed beneath the sands. The being burrowed for thousands of miles to bring forth giant caverns, Oasis's and mountains of sand. Often feared for his form, the Lord of the Sands brought water to the deepest parts of the desert and formed the many rivers that snake the continent.

Personal history

Pensus was originally a child of Mari, the Goddess of the Sea. When she filled the sea's with all manners of life she brought forth a race of serpents to roam the waters and protect the life that she created. One day Sawelsus called upon his sister Mari and asked her to raise land in the east from the seas where he could create a land of endless sun. When she raised the land from the seas a serpent that lived there burrowed deep within the lowering waters and created an endless network of caverns. He carved deep ravines where rivers began to flow. When Sawelsus came to the land of endless sun, he called upon the serpent to guard the lands from any who would not worship Sawelsus. In exchange for their prayers, the people of the land would be granted endless knowledge.
