House Antúnez

Past

House Antúnez is one of the most highly respected proto families throughout the gloomy sea. The family's history dates all the way back to the early years following the fall of the Principality of Regnis. For many years the family owned large stretches of orchards surrounding Cape Oscel, making them one of the richest families in the Kingdom. Sometime after 300 BEM, their land was seized by the Order of the White Sun under the pretense that they were inflating the price of food throughout the region. They were then forced into the city's slums. Angered by their fall from grace they gathered their belongings and a trade ship looking to sail to the far north. For several years the family moved further and further north gathering tools and knowledge. Eventually they landed on board a company ship and found themselves heading to Port Roya. During a storm they were waylaid just south of Port Tarhon. The family would make a new home here for several years before ending up at Port Havas.

Present

House Antúnez is currently led by the Antúnez sisters. The three strong headed sisters took over after the passing of their father, Eloy, before any of the marriage offers were accepted. On their fathers passing, by law the eldest, Adela, became the new head of the family. She would evenly divide their fathers estate and continue to run the family's farms and business. The pending marriages were turned down and the sisters were free to do as they wished. The tobacco farms would flourish under their care as their father often pushed production over quality. Under their watch, Antúnez tobacco would become the world finest quality. Even receiving a stamp from the Bank of Kampala.

Three Sisters

Born and raised on the plantations of Havas, the Antúnez sisters have spent their lives here only leaving to study at the college at the Isle of Stone. Upon their fathers death the sisters would improve the quality of the tobacco and increase the living standards of the slaves and workers on the plantations. The plantation had an open door policy for the workers. If any needed a job could get one along with a roof over their head and 2 square meals.
