Cloud Hopper
Designed specifically to respond to the threat of a looming airship that had begun challenging their territory, these specialized robots were made to serve as a transport vehicle for the planned ambush. Much like a zeppelin, they use enclosed cells of different gases to achieve flight. This system has been optimized by Killian however with help from stolen Institute research to come up with an entirely new technology. It allows the relatively small device to lift other objects many times its own size and travel at vertical and horizontal speeds with astonishing speed. It is still limited in mobility by a modest propulsion unit, making it a better tool than a weapon.
When deployed they use their crane-like appendage to carry a host of Reprogrammed Liberator Bots into the fray on special launching racks. Although armed with a few weapons of their own, protocols dictate they return to the ground to carry more invaders to the sky. When these racks are depleted, they will then scour the ground for any Liberators that missed their landing so they can be reloaded into the racks and return to the fight.
With little focus being spent on their AI in favor of developing their ability to take flight, these machines are little better than drones. More were created than needed in the expectation that some would wander off course or become stuck in command loops. This detail was not shared with the rest of the faction, as it basically goes against all of their original principles. Killian has bent their purpose however and is more concerned with world domination than freeing artificial life from their biological masters.
