Immortals

Immortals, also commonly referred to as guardians, are mythological creatures that are believed to exist on each of the continents. As their name suggests, it is believed these creatures have existed since the dawn of time. Though some stories suggest they can be killed.
It is said that "to lay eyes upon an immortal will either bestow a blessing or curse down upon your house." And due to this belief, they are often revered as gods in most cultures.
Legends of the immortal creatures often describe two defining traits. Their entire body emits a brilliant aura of light and their eyes are described as "either deep as the sea or raging as the inferno." The immortals are said to be extremely powerful and therefore adventurers should take caution should they believe they have come across one.
