The GALACTIC REPUBLIC reigns three decades after the events of the terrible GREAT SITH WAR, fought against fallen Jedis FREEDON NAAD, EXAR KUN, their SITH EMPIRE, and the MANDALORIAN CRUSADERS they subjugated. After making it all the way to the capital city of CORUSCANT in the Core of the galaxy, the SITH were defeated at EXAR KUN'S base on YAVIN IV.
Following the war, the JEDI COUNCIL sought to prevent further fallen Jedi. They have withdrawn the Order from interplanetary conflict to dedicate it to rebuilding the galaxy, keeping the peace, and preventing the dark side of the FORCE from penetrating their ranks. To achieve this, they've instituted a stricter hierarchy, where JEDI MASTERS and JEDI WATCHMEN are called upon to maintain justice within the Order, and furnished a new edict for PADAWAN training. Many Jedi have opposed these changes, stating that it directly contradicts the Code, but the Council is firm in their belief that it will help to prevent more fallen Jedi.
In more recent times, there has been rumours of a new MANDALORE that has reformed the fierce warriors into a new order called the NEO-CRUSADERS. While still on the edges of GALACTIC REPUBLIC space, the clans have already claimed many worlds, and the Republic has begun to reposition its fleets in anticipation of a bloody conflict.
You start on the city moon NAR SHADAA, in a Galactic region only a few thousand parsecs from the planet MANDALORE. Your Quarren associate GUNDARK ROKSEK has hired you to crew a ship full of supplies to the nearby planet FORMOS. Gundark has gone ahead to conduct business on the planet with his mercenary companion, SYL ORDO, while you follow with his goods. You will be paid 100 credits each if you deliver these supplies safely to the owner of Bartleby's Provisions on Formos.
