Personal history
Born and raised on the planet Togoria, Lotis aka "Caboose" was an outcast from a young age. She didn't fit in with her fellow female cubs, she was too dull to wrap her mind around even the most rudimentary technology. She outweighed her peers and could run, climb, and fight just as well as the male cubs. She was bullied and cast out from her litter at the age of 8, with her mother claiming that she could not raise such a brute.
Left to wander the streets, she quickly learned how to fend for herself. Ten years later, her home world was invaded by the Mandalorians. Impressed by the resistance, they offered every able body a spot in their ranks. She accepted the offer, finally finding a welcoming clan.
She served with the neo-crusaders for half a decade. Her last mission was the deadliest. Under the supervision of the Mandalorian scientist Pulsipher, she and her comrades traveled to the Undercity of the planet Taris, searching for a mysterious talisman. They found the talisman, along with a hoarde of rakghouls that threatened their lives. Everyone made it back to the ship alive, but during the trip back to the base, the talisman began to show its influence. One by one her comrades fell violently ill, and within a matter of hours, transformed into ravenous beasts much like the rakghouls on Taris. As they mutated, the troop had to elimate the threats. Even Caboose showed signs of the sickness, with her dark fur turning pale, and bleeding from the eyes and nose. She never lost her strength, never turned mad like the others. She had to endure a worse fate, watching her found family die from her own hands. Pulsipher took control of the ship and drove it and the talisman back to the planet Jebble. Caboose and her girlfriend Sadie fled in a lifeboat to escape the talisman's dark influence.

While in the escape boat, Sadie showed signs of the sickness. She and Caboose were never going to get a happy ending together. Over the next twelve hours, Sadie deteriorated until there was nothing left of her. Caboose watched the last of the light drain from her eyes, and then the monster took over. It clawed at Caboose, and sank a nail into her arm. Caboose killed the monster. She was heartbroken for her lost love. She mourned for the next few days while wandering aimlessly in space. Eventually, she was picked up by a cargo ship and taken back to the planet Taris.
She began to seek out anyone who knew more about this disease. She wanted to find a way to stop it, so that no being would ever have to suffer the same fate as her friends and her love. And she wanted to track down the general to make him pay for the hell that he had unleashed upon the galaxy.
While on the planet Taris, she ran into Cal C Um.
