The Provinces

The Provinces could aptly be called the colonies of colonies; this region was explored and colonized during the Second Breath from the Core Worlds. Originally colonized as resource and harvest worlds for the Core Worlds, the Provinces have now become powers in and of themselves. Many of the noble territories, especially the most influential, have their throne worlds in the Provinces.   The Provinces are well patrolled and have a high level of law enforcement. Most planets have their own navies or are patrolled by the navies of the noble territory they belong to. While Imperial forces can be found here, they typically are contained on military bases or space stations.
