The Core Worlds

Both astro-geographically and politically, the core worlds are the center of the galaxy. The Empire’s capitol world, Hesperides, and its former capitol of Petrion are both located in the core worlds region. Most of the systems in this region have been part of galactic civilization since the beginnings of the Second Breath; many planets claim to be former First Breath colonies of humankind, while others are home worlds of some of the most common species in the Empire. Many of the planets here have become ecumenopolises, cities that encompass an entire planet. Other planets are private reserves of the mega-rich and powerful.   The core worlds are the best patrolled and have the highest level of restrictive law enforcement
