Sirvul’s Withering (SIHR-vool)
Sirvul’s Withering (sometimes shortened to "Sirvul's") is assumed to be a hereditary disease currently under research at the Eburos House. So far, cases have been documented in humans and fauns only.
Iubrach Roor is currently suffering from the affliction, which he has been managing for over a decade, and is the first documented case of it in a nae'cthosai. As such, he is often visited by researchers from the Eburos House.
Transmission & Vectors
Non-contagious.
Causes
Unknown, but a viral trigger is suspected.
Symptoms
Limb stiffness and pain, dark flat rash on trunk, loss of appetite, gradual emaciation of first one limb then others that eventually progresses to the whole body.
Prognosis
No fatalities have been recorded provided the patient continues to eat and drink regardless of appetite, but related crippling accidents and general immobility and weakness are common.
