Ogryn
Large muscle-bound figures evolved from harsh conditions on high gravity worlds with low resources. Ogryns are extremely strong and physically resiliant compared to Terrans but have less sophisticated mental functions, being more focused on survival over innovation. Ogryns are by no means stupid though. They may not know how to read or write even when given access to Uplifting efforts but Ogryns have excellent memory for locations and faces. Ogryns come from Feral worlds either being abducted or having their planet become the focus of an Uplifting. Thus Ogryns are relatively common in galactic society. Ogryns have no psychics at all, lacking the mental acuity that is required for psychics to exist.
Naming Traditions
Feminine names
Female names have typically softer sounds and end with letters that can be drawn out. Eg. Sif, Hea, Lur
Masculine names
Male names typically have harsher sounds and end with hard consonants Eg. Nik, Gub, Ked
Family names
Ogryns don't typically have family names, usually using the name of their same-sex parent as an identifier if anything more than a first name is needed. An Ogryn can how ever earn a moniker after performing a notable deed that will act as a last name Eg. Ned Ded Dog. Note that non-ogryns have difficulty figuring how an Ogryn came by their moniker.

Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Ogryns typically prize raw physical strength over other more esoteric criteria but there are variations from induvidual to induvidual.
Gender Ideals
Coming from Feral worlds Ogryns are normally set into expected gender roles for survival. Males provide security and raw resources while females bear and raise young and maintain living areas.
Either gender can be the leader of a group depending on the circumstances. Nomadic groups tend to follow male leaders while more sedentary groups will follow female leaders though there are exceptions to both.
Courtship Ideals
Females have reproductive choice, picking the male they think will provide the best offspring. Males will compete with each other to prove to perspective mates their fitness.
Relationship Ideals
Ogryns place less importance on maintaining close personal relationships than on the survival of the group as a whole. A male may be the target of several females for reproduction but have very luttle contact with any of them outside of that instance. As children are raised in a more communal setting, minimal expectation is placed on a male to interact with his offspring.
