Ore Devils
The Ore Devils Original Charter, or simply the Ore Devils, started life as an Orlock gang who saw the opening of The Frontier as an opportunity to make their fortune. Their leader, Micah "Bossman" Gunnarsson, had bigger ideas and wanted to become a roadboss to rival that of Slate Merdena. To that end, they fought off a rival escher gang for claims over an area of turf just outside of Frontier City, gaining the attention of the Lord Reclamator himself.
Since then, they have asusmed a seat of power within The Frontier, but want a greater reach and so have begun creating charters for other Orlocks to expand the grip of the House of Iron, all for a small, but regular tribute to Bossman and the original charter
Structure
The Ore Devils embody the way of House Orlock and continue to encourage "Gang before The House; The House before The Hive" in all recruits, from the greenest Wrecker, to the meanest Road Captain, all swear fealty to their Ore Devil charter, and all Road Captains swear fealty to Bossman, as the Roadboss of the Frontier.
The original charter was formed like any other Orlock gang- Micah was the Road Captain, with his Road Sergeants, Ironarm and Tank, supporting him and acting as the senior council within the charter. Next in the pecking order of the charter were gangers and juves who made up the bulk of the charter and whom looked after/were in charge of any supporters or hangers-on that came and went. The only hanger-on whom sat outside of this system was Jezebelle- owner of the Roadhouse they called home. Micah has given explicit instructions that she is to be helped and supported by the charter, and nothing is to ever be demanded of her. Some of the gang believe Micah has a soft spot for Jezebelle and that perhaps to two are together, but all are aware of the risk she took taking the gang in in the early days and see it as the least show of respect that they could offer her after everythign she has doen for them.
Things had to then change as the gang's power base grew. Now, Micah sits at the top of the organisation as the Roadboss of the Frontier and has put Tank and the majority of the Ore Devils to work on the Descent and to act as enforcers amongts the Orlock district of Frontier City and The Warrens.
For the other Road Sergeant - Jensen "Ironarm" - Micah gave him the title of First Captain along with the first charter to go and create a new Ore Devil offshoot somewhere in the Frontier, to increase the Ore Devil power base.
Culture
The Ore Devils are Orlocsk through and through, even those brought into the organisation soon learn the benefits of the Orlock way. Loyalty is dsired utmost and anyone and everyone is entitled to it, so long as they can earn it in a way that benefits ODOC.
They barely trust outsiders, even Orlocks whom aren't Ore Devils, knowing that they will have loyalty elsewher eor their own aims in life, so they are dealt with fairly, but at a distance. All that matters is the gang benefits and therefore, the organisation and House benefit
