Aura Navigations Trade Corporation
The Aura Navigations Trade Corporation was a corporate structure established in the early days of Fidea Prime. In its youth, the corporation was a few small shuttles exploring the space around it. Their entire job was to essentially map out the universe and create star charts and sell them at breakneck prices to the public. Because of this, they had to develop security measures as well as better ships to be able to withstand attacks, travel further, et cetera.
Structure
- President - The President of Aura Navigations fulfills a very small role in their day to day operations. In essence his job is to sit in at meets of the board members and ensure that everything is processed smoothly. He can make a few executive decisions, however, typically he does not and simply remains quiet. In most cases, he does not vote on decisions, issues, or other matters brought up in board meetings unless there is a tie, which isn't very often.
- Chairman of the Board - The Chairmen of the Board are those whom were elected to lead the company. They typically serve eight year terms. Their duty, as chairmen, is to determine the day to day operations. They hold constant board meetings in order to present their ideas and thoughts as to how the company could be improved and run better.
Public Agenda
Aura Navigations' foundation goals were to explore the galaxy and find any rare resources and establish early control over them. On the surface, they were simply a mapping and exploration company seeking to explore the galaxy and sell maps to the public in order to gain a good reputation and a lot of business. Little does the public know that Aura Navigations has excluded what they call "Hotspots" from their star charts for themselves.
Assets
- Aura Navigations Headquarters - The Aura Navigations Headquarters is a massive superstructure built near to a mountain. It is outfitted with high-tech computer systems and security. In addition, it also features several launch pads and R&D Quarters.
- Aura Navigations Security - Aura Navigations Security is a force of about 950 men and women. They utilize some of the highest tech available and their kit is constantly being outfitted with new and improved devices created by Aura Navigations' dedicated R&D team. They are deployed on ships sent into space as well as around the superstructure in order to ensure there are no robberies.
- Wealth - Because of how well-received Aura Navigations had became early in its career, they have amassed a lot of wealth. In fact, they have received numerous donations and sponsorship from other companies and wealthy people in an attempt to kick-start Aura's exploration and gather their own little piece of the galaxy for themselves.
Disbandment
The organization was disbanded in 3891. It was during this time that the president of the trade corporation declared that the corporation was to be disbanded and the Imperial Federation were to take its place
