Paramedic

Paramedics are elite military contractors for the The Holy Cross Memorial Hospital. Despite their contract status, they are expected to work exclusively for the hospital during the duration of their employment

Qualifications

You can be eligible to become a paramedic in multiple ways:

• Pass a fitness and combat test provided by the hospital
• Written recommendations from at least 2 active or 3 former paramedics
• Written recommendation from a Shift Supervisor

Required Proficiencies:
At least one of the following:

• Medicine
• Investigation
• Intimidation

Career Progression

There are no command ranks within actual paramedics; each squad or individual accepts assignments from a Shift Supervisor. However, as they reach higher levels of experience, they will be afforded more valuable and also dangerous jobs
Junior

You gain City Knowledge as a skill proficiency

You gain access to the cantrip Dowse

You can take basic retrieval jobs for the hospital

Intermediate

Access to more advanced hospital jobs, worth more money

Allowed to sleep in the Hospital Barracks

Senior

Access the most dangerous hospital jobs

Access to single accommodation in the Hospital

Payment & Reimbursement

Contract basis; they are paid a stipend to be on call during certain times, and then a per-job fee after that.
