The Mondovì, a merchant galley carrying passengers from Varim to Alios was boarded by pirates who intended to sell their captives into slavery. Through luck, cunning, and grit, four individuals managed to escape the pirates: a Xianese wushi, a warrior from the Ashkuz Xhanate, a Scout of Palesia, and a novice of The Order of the Great Mother of Mercy.
