Aelos Character in The Fourth Age of Tel | World Anvil

Aelos

God of the Sun

Aelos is the product of the incestous union of the twin deities Eion, Goddess of Dawn and Dusk and Edius, God of Fire. Aelos was originally birthed to shine his eternal light upon the surface of Tel, so no evil-doers would be able to hide their acts in the darkness of night from Ator's gaze. However, Xidohros was so enraged by Eion and Edius's act of incest that he vowed to kill Aelos. Hence Xidohros chases the young god across the sky and Aelos is forced to seek protection in his mother's bosom every evening, leaving 12 hours of darkness to exist.
