Era of the first Mortals and Ancient Gods
Ryu-jin, born from the raw energy of the universe, creates the Void, Nature, and Stars, shaping the lands and creatures of the dark, including ancestral beings like the first phantoms, animals, and his kin, the wyrmkin or Dragons.
Ryu-jin creates two siblings, Loarkam The Fair (Goddess of Darkness & Dreams) and Sanguis Gladio the Chaotic (God of Chaos & Wars).
Loarkam and Sanguis create creatures with complex sentience: Elves 18000 BTC, Dwarves 13000 BTC, and eventually 14000 BTC Humans.
Sightings of the first gnomes, believed to be creatures that settled from fractions of unkown occult magic, are nowadays known as fey.
Dwarves and Elves create their own sentient creatures in honor of the gods (Gemcore, Arboren, Leshy), angering the gods.
Dragonkin emerge from the union of human or elf and wyrmkind.
To watch over mortals, Sanguis and Loarkam create new gods: Sary the Crusted (Goddess of Desire & Undead) and Flax The Greater (God of the Heart).

Sightings of the first Nagaji, Tengu, and Kitsune are believed to be creations of Ryujin. They worship him as animals given the ability to think, with bodies and appendages similar to humans. These beings were designed to see how they would develop with sentience. They have clear and deep relationships with the Avaranti humans.
A war erupts between the Elves and Dwarves, both vying for control over the ancient forests that hold significant importance to each race. This conflict ends in a stalemate instigated by Loarkam.
Sightings of the first Fetchlings, humans corrupted and reborn by the magic of the Void Sea, depict them making their way as pirates and sailors, living on the Void Seas. They share a deep connection to the void sands, and Koandicen uses their basis as his design when he creates the Dormarlings.

The conflict escalates as other cultures become involved, drawing in the other gods and spanning a long and grueling war. Battlefields shift constantly between realms, with all old empires falling due to the war. The people are forced to give up their ways, and all mortal cultures and lives must adapt to a new way of life as they are stripped of their own sanctity of ruling over their worlds.
After the war, gods establish provinces and regions, taking direct rule over mortals.
Flax creates objects of Eden empowering mortals. Koandicen, tempted and forced by his mother Loarkam, causes another war, leading to the creation of Dormarlings.

Koandicen is banished to the Ring of Sanctum, transforming it into a magical forest, forbidden from entering the Four Realms.

Instead, he granted them a minuscule fraction of his godly magic, empowering them and rebirthing them as Ashborns. This way, they may live to fight and fulfill their undone deeds and goals.
Mortals, passing on under a contract forged and created by Flax agreed to by other gods, are judged by Koandicen in the Ring of Sanctum for torment or reward based on their deeds after they have ended their lives to be either damned in Sanktum, erased from exsistance, allowed to become Empyrians or be reborn.
As mortals attempt to defy the Arcane ban, Magehunters, an order sanctioned by the gods, emerges to enforce the prohibition. They use divine and occult magic to track down and suppress any attempts to wield forbidden Arcane magic.
