The Rootweavers
The Rootweavers were born from the Rebellion of Roots. They are named for their method of hiding messages, which is to weave the roots of plants for other members to find, marked with secret symbols or magic.
In the past they have endorsed or performed domestic terrorism, smuggling and freeing of criminals, refugees, and other crimes which could be seen as defending nonhumans from persecution.
Pelor died, sparked an incident with non-Pelor worshipers happened. Human druids attacked nonhuman druids, nonhuman druids unleashed natural magics and killed the humans. As a result, non-Pelor worship is heavily oppressed and the nonhumnas scattered. Rootweavers are the name of the original druid circle.
Three gifts of the rootweavers given to new members:
A clasped book of Root Codes, how to read/write, how old messages are. Messages are shorthand, contextual. Symbols for two other organizations: Tilecutters, Kingsguard
A small pouch of acorns. Plant one while touching to have a tree sprout around you to hide you. If planted without touching, could be dangerous
Knowledge: Places of great power can be repurposed by anyone. Needs to have "seeds" planted.
