Mira Settlement in The Flying Flux | World Anvil

Mira

Once the underappreciated pinnacle of peace, this small village in Cetus would've likely remained so for centuries to come... had it not been for Fillin. The demonic creature is still shrouded in mystery, but its presence is still felt by those who stray into Mira and seen in the brutalized remains of various inhabitants whose corpses refuse to rot away.
It is... unnatural; like passing through hell itself.

Guilds and Factions

It's said that a league of ghoulish Fluxers inhabit the surrounding area, forming a small unnamed band of cannibalistic savages. However, because of the immense diversity in beings on Flux, the term "cannibalism" is not extremely unnerving. The only real separation drawn between "Fluxer" and "animal" is based on the expressed level of intelligence, so there are very few biological repercussions from eating one another.

History

As read in the legend known as Mira and the Nightprowler, the city's only noteworthy moment would be its demise. Misfortune is the most valuable experience given to us in these histories, and thanks to the legend of Fillin, most Highland moguls abandoned the Lowlands, allowing a small amount of autonomy for the first time since the Dichotomic War.
