One of the countries that it has a interesting history is Berginpo-Finmarr where the job of Bounty Hunter is legal. It wasn't just legal it was a official position up until 14 months ago according to the Berginpo-Finmarr's list of jobs. The job of Bounty Hunter became a Legitimate profession when a new ruling body took over and decided instead of using the army but wanted a way a way to bring order to the region especially the Capital and dint want to pay for police force or militia, especially on a full time basis. So they decided to authorise Bounty Hunting as a profession. For centuries to come Bounty Hunting would become a honoured tradition with multiple guilds forming and sometimes forming there own communities. Some of these guild became very specialised. Some where bards only guilds, some where magic oriented and some where just scouts. You didn’t always have to be in a guild you could also go solo and answer the daily bounty boards or get it from people who want your services and some people hung around taverns, ports and other places to listen for rumours and then offer there services when the opportunity arrives. Then 14 months ago the ruling body decide that the Bounty Hunter's where becoming glorified thugs and excuses for criminals to take advantage of a job to cause violence and steel things and not complete the job properly, like keeping the target alive or passing the item the customer wanted back to the customer. Thou in the the real word this was just a few people these people gave the once honourable business a very bad name among the general public. Now that Bounty Hunters became illegal some people change professions to the new town guards or the army. But most found other jobs but secretly stayed Bounty Hunters but this went underground and done very secretly including some of the guilds becoming highly secret and usually descried as something else.
