The Tachebourn Odyssey

The Tachebourn Odyssey is an incomplete collection of journal entries detailing the adventures of one Lord Tachebourn and his entourage.  It appears to have been written by his servant, Zekial Moros.  The fragments of the chronicle that have been recovered lead to more questions than they answer.  Outside of the journal entries, there is no corroborating evidence that Lord Tachebourn has ever existed.  While this leads some to conclude that the whole document is a work of fancy with no basis in reality, others point to the fact that these scattered pages are often found near to the locations that the narrator claims these events happened.  The fact that the locations portrayed in the text are quite dangerous, and the locations of the discovered scrolls are often equally as dangerous, lend to the air of authenticity around this work.  Loremasters hope for the recovery of pages that will put the whole question to rest.  In support of the search for answers to this academic conundrum, some Loremasters will pay handsomely for the recovery of verifiably new pages from this mysterious document.
The Master lead us out of the city today.  He found a new company of adventurers to replace the last ones, and to accompany him to the Well of Souls.  They are expecting to find many great treasures within that ancient place.  I know we will find only death.  The Voices assure me of that.  They whisper of all the ways I will die.  And when I look at others, they whisper of all the ways that that person will die too.  A thousand conflicting voices filling my head with madness.  Oh, but when they speak in unison, then Death is fast approaching to claim its prize.  When I look at Master however, the Voices go silent.  I know in my coal black heart that he will live.  And live forever too.  Or at least until his adventure is done.  But I won't be there.  Death will claim me before my Master's journeys are done.

The incoherent ravings of a madman.  Give no credence to those half illiterate scratchings.  But if you stumble upon a page or two, I expect you to bring them to me.  So I can properly examine and critique them, of course.
