The Magistrom

The Magistrom is the guild for elemental Mancers. 
Recently they have begun allowing membership to those who practice the Elven Magicks of the Wyld.  Although most Druids and Rangers tend to avoid such political entanglements.

Structure

The Magistrom is mostly a social institution for the exchange and advancement of Magickal knowledge.  Although having a convocation of wizards to request aid from when your local Lord or Baron is "asking" for too much of your precious time, can be of true value.

Culture

Most members of the Magistrom prefer to be left alone to pursue their Magickal interests.  Some, however, will engage with the wider world in an effort to gain more time or money for their personal endeavors.
As a general rule, members of the Magistrom tend to look down on those who practice divine magicks.  They consider those who draw power from other beings as tainted and unnatural.  As a result of this, they tend to view priests and clerics in the same light as warlocks, which can lead to complicated social conflicts at times.  Those who engage in the career of Adventuring tend to have a more open mind on the subject, or at least the wisdom to not bring the subject up in conversation.
