Amelia is one of the Matchmakers and has a surprisingly high position in the ancient organization despite being one of the most recent additions, having only joined shortly after Queen Apachia took power in the Court.
Her first appearance at the Awakening Party was the first arrival of The Court of Heart under Apachia , where she was surprisingly liberal with the amount of matches she offered approval to. Some people read this as the Court of Heart attempting to accrue favor, despite the fact that Queen Apachia's plans seemed to almost ignore the Matchmakers entirely. Some also tittered that Amelia might be either horrid or excellent at her new position, of course, that entirely depended on whether they personally agreed with the matches she approved.
Outside of the Awakening, Amelia has been rarely seen outside of the Court of Heart despite most Matchmakers being well travelled, but she is also the first junior matchmaker to come to two Awakenings in a row. This has sparked rumors that Head Matchmaker Lylo plans to have Amelia take her place in the near future, as all of the time at the main Court must have been training.
At the last Awakening, Amelia was a curiosity among the courts, but now that she is coming back opinions on her are mixed, but many are looking to bend her ear, hoping to have the favor of the potential new head matchmaker.
Notably, though she doesn't seem to have any parentage worth speaking about, Amelia was clearly born of both the Court of Heart and the Gale Court. This is betrayed by the small breeze that seems to follow her wherever she goes.
