Sliberberg Free Navy
The SLiberberg Free Navy is a fledgling but ambitious mercenary naval faction, formed from the remnants of the Rat Confederacy. Under the leadership of Commodore Riona Byrne, this group of former pirates and smugglers has transitioned into a semi-legitimate organization, offering privateering, convoy escort, and armed transport services. Despite being only a month old, the Free Navy has quickly made waves in the political and economic spheres of SLiberberg.
Structure
The organization is still in its infancy, so the structure is still in flux. Currently the navy structures itself around 16 captains who answer directly to Commodore Riona Byrne.

History
The SLiberberg Free Navy emerged in the aftermath of Murtagh’s regime and the collapse of his navy. With the Rat Confederacy disbanded, several Harbor Rats gang leaders sought a path to greater legitimacy and power. Chief among them was Riona Byrne, formerly the enigmatic Rat King, who revealed herself to be a cunning and resourceful leader. Adopting the title of Commodore, Byrne rallied her allies and began transforming their ragtag fleet into a disciplined naval force.
Commodore Riona Byrne
Disguised as a man during her tenure as Rat King, Riona Byrne’s unmasking as a woman has only solidified her reputation as a master strategist and shrewd negotiator. Her leadership has earned the Free Navy the unofficial backing of King Fredrick and a growing list of allies. Byrne’s vision for the Free Navy includes establishing it as a dominant maritime power, capable of defending SLiberberg’s interests and undermining her former comrades in the Harbor Rats.
