History
The Ryggari believe that Saedaetha is the primordial void between creation and destruction where Manus slayed the frost giant Yemor, whose body became the world.
To many, Saedatha represents the potential of the unknown and contrasting powers of creation and destruction, and to others, Saedatha is merely a doorway behind which these raw creative forces can be glimpsed. Despite these differences, in each story there is a common element of ice and fire, water and desert, and other opposing forces which create and bring life to the universe. To those who eschew religion entirely, the concept of Saedatha represents the thin line between creation and destruction in which perceivable reality precariously hangs.
