Wood Elf

Wood Elves are native to Kemnór.
While their more arcane advanced relatives were drawn to the lure of dense cities and expanding their knowledge - eventually leaving the surface for the skies. The Wood Elves were drawn to the nature of their Homeworld and quiet isolation. As a result, arcane magic in the family groups or tribes of Wood Elves are usually hidden or even evicted from their tribe by the Chieftain if they are viewed as a threat.
As time went on, Wood Elves spread from their forests and made their way further afield, eventually settling in smaller villagers and settlements which gathered resources and began farming to sustain themselves. 
The clans occasionally come together in what is known as a Shieldmeet where the Chieftains discuss issues of overlapping hunting and gathering grounds, or even to forge alliances to deal with beasts or other dangers of the wilds. The Wood Elves are all heavily set in tradition, and although conflicts occur often, they are usually minor, and the clans relationships usually end more positively than before the conflict.
