Sylvian Imperium

The Sylvian Imperium does not suffer fools. Lead by the Council of Shadow, a tribunal of 9 Eladrin, 3 from each clan, Warrior, Religious, and Worker, the Imperium maintains an appearance of equality for all its constituents. However, anyone who has spent any time living within the trees of this great forest, will know equality is just a myth.   The Eladrin are viewed as being the most 'important' race within the Imperium, with the other Elven races being viewed as impure, and non elven races being viewed as weak. Breeding between elves and other races is strongly frowned upon, and many half elves find themselves targeted and harassed for their lineage.   What is even worse, is the plight of the orcs. Once great boar like beasts, the elves have genetically modified orcs to become more docile and intelligent, only to use them as beasts of burden or dogs of war. Even the more humanoid and sentient so called 'Half Orcs' find themselves as indentured servants, or outright slaves.   Each elvish clan has their own capital, Bunka for the Religious, Senshi for the Warriors, and Sabanio for the Workers, with Niese Elidome acting as the capital for the entire Imperium, and Ginken and Ebagueido serving as major hubs for trade with outside groups.   Just as they have three clans and three capitals, the elves also have three gods. Morrochben god of religion, Minithril god of war, and Yoko god of work. The gods maintain roles as advisers for the counsel and hold no true power within politics, but are highly respected among their people.

Structure

The Sylvian Imperium is run by a counsel of nine Eladrin Elves. Three from each of the major tribes, Religious, Warrior, and Worker.   The Religious cast focuses on education, civil court matters, and internal defense. Their patron deity is Morrochben, the grand executioner and father of flame.   The Warrior cast is in charge of defense of the Imperium's borders as well as external diplomatic affairs. The primary purpose of the Warrior cast is to deal with external affairs. Their patron deity is Minithril, the Grand Dualist, and mother of frost.   Lastly, there is the Worker Cast. The Worker Cast is dedicated to the maintenance of the internal systems of the Imperium. They maintain the ecology of their living cities as well as well as produce the majority of all foodstuffs. Their patron is Yoko, the Grand Architect, and the mother of earth.

Public Agenda

The Imperium is one of the most put together societies in the Everwilds. Many of their leaders look out across the corrupted wastes and see an unrefined bed of chaos and death. They feel all this could benefit greatly from Elven influences.

History

The Imperium was founded by one of the original gods, Midorine, goddess of Life, as a system for raising her elvish children. Now that Midorine is dead, the Imperium operates for the elves, and by the elves.

Demography and Population

Only Elves can be 'true' citizen's of the Imperium. Most of the people in the Imperium however are Half-Orcs or Half-Elves of other varieties, in order to pad out the dwindling elvish population.
