Ruvia
The original settlement at the heart of The Ruvian Empire. It began as a modest city state, and grew to dominate the southern sea. It conquered and settled the realms surrounding it, and ruled the region for centuries. Ruvia itself declined within the empire, and eventually suffered a catastrophe known as The Great Disjunction.
Today, people still live in the broken city. The outskirts have been reclaimed as farmland, and it operates independently from the surviving provinces of the empire. There is little economic power left in the city, though it does still hold a strategic site.
Infrastructure
Many of the roads and fortifications were damaged in The Disjunction. They still have not been repaired. The Everspring is a broken aqueduct that now pours into the city and flows through the streets.
Geography
Situated on a moderate island. Floating sky islands, a consequence of the disjunction, drift in the skies.
