"When those raging bolts struck, it was like the light of Olryse himself had pounded the very earth and set the entire temple ablaze. Those furious claps of thunder like maddening explosions ringing throughout the air into our very bones as a death toll. To see the lightening dancing about in glee as our very homes burned to blistering ash, and our anointed men and women sat immolated by the ravenous blaze was like a nightmare sundered straight from the Black Abyss." -Juséro McDunnell

Brundrea (Amber Plains) was a divine metropolis established in northern Cèrys back in 685 F.B. during the early Fraiic Era. It was a city that took nearly five hundred years, in its construction, to complete. Brundrea was a vast center of worship and conviction. It served not only as a symbol of hope for the faithful but a pillar of unity for the regency. Although, the initial goal was the erection of a hallowed citadel. One that rivaled the likes of the Julla Ruesor in the Faerusian Republic, this solitary goal would eventually become streamlined. A unified completion of a mighty temple of peace and tranquility.   The cathedral erected there, dubbed Ìahro Twůr, would become the largest in all of the Hífteu Bwu (Low North). The priestess christened the cathedral in honor of the fifth Asthai Isthor, Ast Ìahro, "the Sage of Dust and Daylight."   On the 22nd day of Ìahro, the year 1162 F.B, the Crait Twůr was struck by several bolts of lightning, causing a massive blaze. The blaze consumed not only the parish. But many of the homes and businesses surrounding it. It's believed that more than 250 priests and 90 natives perished in the blaze that night. In the following years, locals dubbed this disaster the "d̬ý Queócó Calamity." As like the d̬ý Queócó, this disaster signaled the death of many tens of thousands. The bloody beginning of the Second Hållish-Ríaun War of 1155 E.B.   It was concluded by the many that the ones at fault for this great calamity were the Ríauni. Specifically, the Ríaun consuls Avion Qroswell and Bhione Faobrequi. The two foreign consuls found visiting the city at the time of the incident. Innumerous rumors spread throughout the Timber, like wildfire. Whispers of thunderbolts, directed to the cathedral as if by magic. Transmogrification. Though, of course, representatives of San Ríaune stated that this was nothing more than a malicious misunderstanding. A statement which eventually evolved into blame, "that this was an underhanded trick by the Cèrysh to persecute and humiliate their great peoples."   This only stoke the flames of greater loathing, and soon too, war.   As in the incident, many of the priestesses that died were Anrish and Hystraenian citizens, two of three nations who'd previously sided against San Ríaune in the prior war. And it would be they who pushed the Assembly to act.
