While the races had found each other, for better or worse, they saw how the Aether Streams stretched far beyond the two Confluences and a third large Confluence could be observed far far away. And so unable to compete in combat the C.T.U & the Collective began a new race, to see who could build a Aethership capable of traveling such a far distance first. This and a dash to discover new resources and develop new magics and technologies to further the cause.
