In 1405 P.S across the Etherium a new race emerged, Changelings. It is unknown if they were always among the races or if they suddenly appeared from thin air, but their reception was a disaster. Fear from the Twilight Age still permeated the races and the emergence of seemingly monstrous people who could take the form of anyone's friends, family or acquaintances sparked fear. Fear turned into Hate and a Paranoia set into many of the races. A series of Systematic Inquisitions hunted out for any rumor or inference of Changelings, often culling the accused before any real investigation took place. While many survived, the Holocaust on Changelings left a death toll in the Thousands. Eventually superstition and paranoia were banished by reason and logic but not before the atrocities were committed.
