The Fallowed Kings, The Septimal Sicknesses, Lords of Exile
Epicure the Boar
Licentious the Cockerel
Egot the Lion
Arvarnice the Rat
Craver the Asp
Supine the Slug
Dander the Dragon
Of all the most vile, twisted, conniving, conceited, prideful, cruel, destructive and powerful beings to ever be cast into Fallow Space, the Exiled Principalities above all others are to be feared and respected. They are old enough that they had already been cast into exile far before The Sundering took place and some have been there before the Age of Wonders had even started.
In the time before their individual exiles, when they were free to roam casting their malignant shadows upon the Etherium, the Principalities brought pain and destruction in their wake. Each one a force of dark intent with more than enough power to match their goals. They have been responsible for wars, plagues, coups, tyronies, genocides and countless other atrocities, uncaring of the consequences of their actions. They sought to reshape the The Etherium into a tool for their own entertainment or edification, some believing that they knew how best to sort out and organize existence itself.
It was for good reasons that the Gods cast the Principalities and all their followers into Fallow Space, for in their absence the Etherium prospered. The Gods set guards over the entrances to the Fallow Space, tasked with keeping their charges from emerging to spread their influence ever again. The Sundering both weakened the bonds on their prison and decimated their wardens leaving the Principalities and all their hosts to begin pushing at the bounds of their planar containment.
In the ages since The Sundering many have been enticed by the Exiled's siren call desiring the power they offer in exchange for "Favors". Their ultimate bargain being power for any potential chance for escape. Those who have made these dark pacts are forever tainted by The Mark of the Fallow, They and many of their Descendants a clear sign of the Principalities influence once again stretching out into the Etherium.
