Session: 0 Introduction to the Etherium Report
General Summary
As preparations for the Political Summit at Architrave City come to four individuals found themselves drawn to the event for separate purposes.
Cassiel Willowick, a youthful Human Warden of Grace arrived as the Honor Guard for a Minor Diplomat for the C.T.U named Dhorbim Pebblefeet.
Sorren Warthorn, a disgruntled Half-Elf Mercenary, had been at Architrave City for some three days prior, having arrived with the rest his Mercenary Company, "The Halfbred Hammers", working a contract as temporary security for the Summit.
Mendeln Ul-Diomed, a Wizened Bright Elf Scholar and Veteran of ISW2, as a professional courtesy was invited to attend the Summit as a interested but Unofficial Observer.
Herman Prowler 3rd a.k.a HP-3, a outdated Forged and all around quandary, was coerced into accompanying the Crew of the Excelsior, an archaeological company, to the Summit where many people were eager to meet him.
By coincidence these four found themselves at the City's aethership docks.
Cassiel and Sorren found themselves in each other's company as their professions led the two to watch over the slovenly dwarven Senator as he gorged himself on a feast for five. In time the Senator passed out from his feasting and at the behest of his protectors was carried off by a crew of Kenku servants, presumably to his sleeping quarters. It quickly became clear to Cassiel and Sorren that the Kenku were intentionally attempting to ditch the two and abscond with the slumbering Senator. A chase ensued which quickly devolved into combat as a Kenku Tinkerer unleashed a Mechanical Wasp Swarm upon the Heros. Sorren quickly dispatched the threats with his black blade SIF while Cassiel interrogated the surviving Kenku, learning about a underground rebellion called Kenku Liberation Front and received some sort of message storing device.
HP-3 found himself in the charge of Mendeln whilst being interviewed by a blue skinned Genasi, called Truth Seeker , who was deeply intrigued by both HP-3 himself and a mysterious mercurial Orb, which he calls his "Baby". Unwilling to part with his "Baby" HP-3 demanded a entire Aethership in payment for mere observation of the Orb. The Seeker departed the room, presumably to see if acquiescing to the odd Forged's was even possible, leaving the two in the room alone. A pair of Kenku entered the room with a bag of tinkering odds and ends for HP-3 to amuse himself with. While occupied the Kenku stealthily swapped HP-3's "Baby Orb" with a illusory fake and message from the Kenku Liberation Front. When the ruse was discovered a panicked hunt began. Eventually the thieves were hunted down and fought. Mendeln plagued the offending Kenku with his arcane powers and necromantic arts while HP-3 scoured them with fire from his Mechanical Autogun.
