Khar-Zâdrok

Khar-Zâdrok is the capital of the Duergar. It is a colossal subterranean city within the Bladescar Ridge, built around an eternal forge-furnance, where rivers of molten metal careve through streets of black stone and basalt citadels.
Khulrak Varrik Thaurgrim sits on the Throne of Zâdrok, which is carved from a single block of fused obsidian and the remains of a fallen fire giant and is said to be a conduit of bound souls - every ruler who sits upon it is tormented by the voices of their predecessors.
Few outsiders have been Khar-Zâdrok, but those who have describe silent streets, filled with the endless ringing of hammers and the glow of forge-light reflecting off ancient runes.
