Biomancy

Biomancy is a fusion of magic and biological science, where practitioners, known as Biomancers enhance themselves and others through bodily modifications. It is a magic originates from the Shard of Maphrok. Students travel from throughout the planes to Shard of Maphrok to recieve tutelage from the goblins that reside there.   Biomancers are skilled in copying biomancy spells at reduced cost and time, gaining proficiency with surgeon's tools and access to a specialized spell list that includes transformation, healing, and enhancement magic like Alter Self, Haste, and Shapechange. When casting biomancy spells, they can heal themselves or their target through magical energy.   As they advance, biomancers gain the ability to modify their bodies through magical surgery. They can enhance themselves with features like extra limbs, heightened senses, or defensive traits such as scales or slime. These modifications can only be sustained in limited numbers at a time, though the capacity for sustaining them increases as the biomancer grows more experienced.   Further, biomancers can cast spells that normally target others and apply them to themselves simultaneously, allowing for self-enhancement alongside their magic. Additionally, they can craft powerful stimulant capsules that temporarily enhance their strength or speed, granting abilities like increased size, extra attacks, or faster reflexes. However, the use of these stimulants comes with a cost, as it leaves them briefly exhausted once the effects fade.   This constant self-improvement and adaptation makes biomancers masters of evolution, using magic to push the boundaries of physical transformation and enhancement.
