Submitance

Submitance is a cultural concept practiced by our forebears for their own protection when dealing with the authority of the Humans casually.   In practice, it is a method of carrying oneself in such a way so as to avoid the notice and ire of particular Humans, should any Otonomoi encounter them in the day-to-day. My anger is largely for the fact that such actions can still be argued as viable, and in other places necessary.
In much of the civilized world, relations between Otonomoi and Human have evened out. Of course, there remains inequality between us and the descendants of the gods, but there are far greater protections against th
