The Royal Army of Enther

The Royal Army of Enther is a military force created to serve the monarch as it's protector and protectors of the kingdom. 
During peacetime, the army itself is kept at a smaller garrison, with most of it's forces remaining in Montheus. The soldiers may act as guards within the capital, or escorts for lords and ladies of the court who require them. 
The Crown demands that during time of war, that each region submits a percentage of their own soldiers to serve in the royal army. Depending on the threats to Enther, the expectations of what is expected can vary.
During the One Hundred Year War with the Tang Dynasty the crown would enlist it's full potentia, with half of the army remaining in the Kingdom as defence, and the other half joining the allied forces in the Entherlands to prevent the Tang Dynasty forces from invading into Enther. However such unity is not always the case.
In early 600 ABM, the rebellion against Queen Eveline Bane resulted in three of the four Great Lords rising up in rebellion and thus taking almost 3/5 of the possible royal army reserves and turning against the monarch. 
However since these rebellions, the monarchy has done more to ensure that their army is stocked up and ready. As well as having the soldiers in Montheus, army strongholds are placed around the kingdom to ensure that a military garrison is present in each region.
