Stone's End
Stone's End is a town on the Stoney Shore. It is situated on the southern end Stoney Shore where they shore begins.
The town also serves as the seat for the Lord Keepers of the Stoney Shore, the Gransmiths.
Stone's End is renowned for it's blacksmithing and stonework.
Demographics
Like most settlements in Enther, it is predominantly humans who populate the town. However, there is a higher than usual count of folkless orcs living in Stone's End.
Unfortunately, there is tension between these orcs and humans, especially over work and employment. On more than one occasion in recent times that orcs and humans have ended up in violent quarrels, some resulting in death. An orcish representative works for the Lord Keeper as advisor, but has more than once had an attempt on his life.
Points of interest
Stone End has a few notable areas within it.
Gransmith Keep - The keep where the Gransmith family reside as well as the barracks.
The Grey Quarter - This is an area of Stone's End where the folkless orcs have taken up residence.
The Street of Fire - This is a stretch of road within the town lined with blacksmiths, stone makers and other artisans. It is named for the many flaming forges lighting the street day and night.
