Industry & Trade
Old Town, being the highest populated area in the whole of the Kingdom of Enther means trade is something which is high on everyones agenda. Market places, brothels, inns and taverns all contribute to the hustle and bustle of the Old Town.
However, the good trade is often countered with high crime rates. The over population of the Old Town has resulted in high amounts of poverty. The guards are constantly intervening in fights, scuffles and crime which are taking place. Crime lords in Old Town have all but secured patches which the guards stay away from, with some even being rumored to be in leagues with the criminals.
The most profitable "trade" in Old Town seems to be the brothel business. The street of flowers is known for it's stretch of brothels, where any taste can be satisified, no matter how unsavory it may be. People of all cultures and class are known to occupy these brothels from time to time. The owner of The Iron Rose in Montheus' High Town also keeps an establishment on this street to not lose her profits in Old Town.
Guilds and Factions
As crime is rife in Old Town, it is not suprising to hear that Crime Lords have taken up residence in the area.
