Merc was born enslaved to a Pure Blood known only as The Chairman in The Big Ayesea, Old Jer-Z in 2198 END. He was raised with the sole purpose of being a Mercenary used to guard The Chairman's territory in The Big Ayesea. He was freed in 2228 END, when The Chairman's Iron Army, The Glowing 300, staged a revolt and ran him out of Old Jer-Z. Merc hopped from settlement to settlement over the years eventually finding himself at home within a King's Court band. Merc rose through the ranks over the years and is now the Front Man of his own band that has settled in Blairwood, Old Jer-Z. He has since founded his own nightclub and church in Blairwood known as The Vortex.
