Virtues of the Kings Court
The Virtues of the Kings Court is one of the many faiths worshiped in The End. The Court puts their faith in music and those who created it before the fall. While they know little of the artists they worship, the Court takes their lyrics as gospel and view them as fallen Kings and Queens.
Divine Origins
The Court starting popping up all over the world after the fall, all with similar ideals. Throughout time there have been hundreds of "Kings and Queens" whose voices and words could inspire nations. The Court began taking their words as gospel, dressing in their image and living their lives the way their King or Queen would have.
Cosmological Views
The Court firmly believes that the world didn't truly end from the infection or the bombs. It ended the day the music died.
Tenets of Faith
The voice, words, and spirit of your leader is the voice, spirit, and word of your band. They interpret the voices of the King or Queen you follow.
Faith is more than just following blindly. Prove the strength of your faith by challenging the faiths of others. Strengthen all, not to destroy.
Celebrate as the Kings and Queens would. Fight as they would. Live as they would dream us to live. Die with the beat on your lips.
Recover the icons of your fallen leader, but do not worship them. The day the music died has come and gone, and these icons are nothing but ghosts.
Let all who walk in your presence give respect to your King or Queen.
Let your battle hymns be heard, as the mindless and soulless undead are sent to their final rest. One day we will be able to bring these songs to the masses again, and one day you will be called upon to recite them.
Worship
The Court looks to the words of their chosen King or Queen for inspiration and lives their life the way their leader would.
Priesthood
The Court is organized into "Bands" of people who follow the same King or Queen. One member of this band is deemed the Frontman who organizes the group.
