Those before the fall that had money, those who were disgustingly wealthy, are the ancestors of the Pure Bloods. They had the funds to seal themselves away in shelters, bunkers and high up places with supplies to last them a lifetime. Their bloodline was protected, their DNA was unaltered by the Infection and the radiation. Those who walk the wastelands today, the Pure Bloods, are the closest thing to Pre-Fall humans that are left. They live their lives surviving off making deals and using their name to get what they want. Everyone in this world has a price, and odds are a Pure Blood can pay it.
