Shandle Arthropscopi

Shandle Arthropscopi is a rather homely gnome with large ears and an enormous nose. He is one of the founders of the University, where he teaches. He is an accomplished naturalist, particularly regarding belowground ecosystems. He greatly enjoys caving and often associates with Irm Murkrock, though his advancing years mean that he makes fewer expeditions than he used to.
