Gargoyles

Gargoyles are unknown in the Enclave and rare Outside the Great Gate. One is known who resides atop an old tower about a day's travel southeast of the Great Gate; Adonis Pax named him Jef. They remain still for hours at a time in high places, watching what goes on below, and can easily be mistaken for statues as they are the color of greyish stone. They can eat almost anything but appreciate getting interesting or high quality food. They can live for hundreds of years and are placid creatures, although they can fly when they feel like it.
