Elves

There are legends of elves in The Magical Library, some of which are repeated by parents as stories for children. Elves are believed to be wise, long-lived people, somewhat lighter and nimbler than Humans, and remarkably handsome and charismatic. Nobody alive in the Enclave has ever seen an elf. The Magical Library has some old drawings of them, as well as some fragmentary scrolls and books in Elvish. Elvish is engraved on several ancient magical items retained by The Enclave Council. A few sages can read some Elvish. The elves were probably important in the early history of the Enclave, but their precise role has been forgotten.
