Fields of Defiance

At A Glance

The FIELDS OF DEFIANCE are set outside the walls of Rhuvael about a mile to the north and have been set aside in the past for royal use only. One of the primary uses for the grassy fields left unseeded here is that the entire area is taken up by the Tournament, its facilities and its guests.[br
During the off years, the fields are still reserved for the Throne horse and stock herds.

Geography

At A Glance

The plains stretch nearly 3 miles from one end to the other and then the other axis about the same. It is a large amount of land near the city but the Tournament takes precedence. If the jousters and audiences are too far from the city then the economic benefits disappear and the Tournament lacks purpose from the point of the Council
