Lady Arthena Adhrain- Morlanis

ARTHENA is the baseborn daughter of the LORD ARTATH MORLANIS and, it is believed, an Aenari peasant though Arthena never knew her mother. She was raised in the local nunnery until she had her words, basic letters and religious education. At the age of nine, she was brought to the MORLANIS household by the sisters of the abbey and presented to her father with proof and a witnessed oath by one of the sisters.

Forced to accept her into the household due to the witnessing of her patrimony by the Church, ARTHENA did not have a happy childhood under the switch of her step-mother. The proper wife of LORD MORLANIS missed no opportunity to discipline the girl in front of visitors and other notables. If this was a calculated ploy to crush her spirit or relegate her to the shadows—it failed miserably when LORD ONDEAS ADHRAIN met her, wooed her and managed to convince her father for her hand in marriage.

The two appear to be quite blissful together and have two young children.
