Moongaze Hill
Moongaze Hill is a large rolling hill in Evermare, it earned it's name due to the fact that it's size and angle attracts many sapients to lay and gaze out at Evermare's moon. It is fairly steep and covered in purple necroa grass, the view it gave to sapients often caused them to become almost mesmerized and stay for hours at a time, especially far in the past when sapients were still much more primal.
Geography
Moongaze hill is a large rised hill coated in Necroa grass. The hill's eastern downward slope acts as a perfect sitting place for various sapients. Moongaze hill is angled in such a way to provde a perfect view of the moon. It is surrounded by grassy plains all around with the Clawed Forest to it's west.
Ecosystem
As few to no animals truly live there, flora make up the majority of the ecosystem. Necroa Grass grows on Moongaze Hill and, due to having few animals to eat away at it aside from a few worms or other insects, natrually relies on rain patterns of all things, only truly growing during the summer, and staying fairly short during the rest of the year, even the blood peonies only bloom during the summer, with most of them dying off by fall or winter, dropping their seeds closeby before repeating the cycle as the seasons go on.
Ecosystem Cycles
During Evermare's Summer, the Necroa grass on Moongaze hill grows rather tall, even a few blood peonies may grow near or even on the hill, by Fall, the grass returns to it's average height and most of the flowers die off, though some may remain. By Winter, all the flowers die off and even snow may gather on the hill should it be cold and humid enough. The clouds often either block out the moon or create an even more mesmerizing image that entrances viewer's of the moon even deeper then normal.
Localized Phenomena
Due to the ideal view Moongaze hill offers to those laying on it, they often become entranced by it. Sometimes to the point where some sapients even doze off. Some Species may be immune however.
Climate
Like most of Evermare, Moongaze hill is mostly cool and fairly windy, though, should the weather kick up, one might have a decent way to go to get to a shelter in a nearby town or city.
Fauna & Flora
Necroa grass completely covers Moongaze Hill. Occasionally, blood peonies may grow near or even on Moongaze Hill during the summer.

If you're at Moongaze Hill during the summer, you might be able to grab some nearby blood peonies.
History
Sapients used to fear Moongaze Hill, some even beleiving it to be supernatrual in nature, however, since they realized such is not correct and the fear surrounding it became facination to the mesmerizing effects of viewing the moon from Moongaze Hill instead, which remains so to this day.
Tourism
Various sapients visit Moongaze hill, though it is mostly local dark elementals, occasionally, a non-dark elemental may visit to see the entrancing effects of the moon themselves.
